Release of Liability The Rider recognizes that bicycling and bicycle racing can be a dangerous activity, which can cause serious bodily injury or death, and which is undertaken entirely at the risk of the Rider. The Rider hereby releases and forever discharges Lateral Stress Velo; each sponsor of Lateral Stress Velo; the directors, officers, and volunteers of Lateral Stress Velo; and, the owner of such bicycles or other gear provided for the use of the Rider pursuant to this Agreement (individually and collectively, along with their respective agents, the Released Persons) from each and every right, claim, debt, cause of action, demand, suit for damages, liabilities, legal fees, acts or rights of action of any nature whatsoever, whether asserted or unasserted, known or unknown, that the Rider has, or may have, against the Released Persons, from the beginning of time to the date hereof, arising from ownership, possession, or use of the such bicycles or other gear provided for the use of the Rider; and, from all other risks undertaken by the Rider. I have read and will comply with the above agreement between the Team Rider and Lateral Stress Velo. Murray Davis, Club Administrator, Date: 11/15/10 Team Rider Signature: The bicycle provided to me is owned by Kelly Benefit Strategies and is provided for the rider’s use at the discretion of Kelly Benefit Strategies; I will maintain proper care of the bicycle and return the bicycle at the end of the season and at the request of the club. Team Rider Signature: Note: By signing this contract you commit to racing 95% of the race calendar. In addition, we are aware that “life happens”, so the team director can at his/her discretion provide a rider in need with a safety valve in special situations.
